Not much complaints since Sewell Lexus here in Dallas keeps me happy. I am looking to get an 09 SC430 Pebble Beach though; not because I'm unhappy with the ES but because it's spring time here in TX and that's convertible weather.

Hey, I got your back. Bought mine in June of 2006 and now have 74,600 miles on it.

Bought my '07 end of April 2006. Recently traded for a 2010.

I took a flashlight and really got into my engine. When that oil hose broke, it left a huge mess because I was driving for about 3 miles while the oil was spraying out. Bottom line, the dealer cannot do anymore to clean it, there are brown stained hoses and stained parts deep in there..so lets say that it will never be the same and that is why I continue to get a burning smell when the engine is hot. So, yeah, I am car shopping.

Looking at the M and actually the Acura TL SH-AWD...as well as the 10 ES. I do like the idea of AWD, especially after how poorly the ES performed in the blizzard. However, I do notice that you can now turn off the traction control on the 10's...imagine that!

Might do some test driving later today.
When you go to trade it in be sure to let the engine cool before they appraise it.

Has the engine been steam cleaned/pressure washed by a professional detailer?

Not a professional, but the dealer did it twice. It has gotten better with time, it is worse when it is in the garage because the air is trapped. Outside, you can't really smell it.
