2009 ES350. Navigation Override. What are my options?
Given my car is 2009 ES350. Can someone help explain my options to get the darn nav to work while the car is moving?
Just checked the Map and it's version 8.1. I tried the top corner/bottom corner on the volume screen but that does not work on my card.
Then I've been reading the forums and it talks about burning a DVD. Is that an option for the car/version of Nav that I have? The car is leased so I don't want to cut any wires or anything.
I am hoping to get any of the options I have, if any?
Please let me know. Thanks.

Go to the Sticky post, "Enabling the NAV system features when driving" and read the second to the last post (post #90). This person said it will work with Ver 9.1 so it most likely will work with Ver 8.1 too.

I read the posts again including #90. Still not sure what "hybrid DVD (5.1 loading +9.1 data)" actually means.
It refers to burning a DVD somehow but I'm still not clear on how you obtain the data to burn.
If there is a solution for this by just popping in a new DVD? If so, is this something I can purchase?
The car is leased so I don't like the idea of cutting wires or buying an expensive system from Prestigious. However, I would pay for another DVD if that will work.
