I've never raised my ES350 to change the oil. Just slide the pan under, drain the oil, slide the pan forward and change out the filter element. It's by no means roomy, but there's enough space to work without the hassle of ramps.

I use an oil change pump. It pulls the oil out of the dipstick opening and has worked great for my ES350. For some reason on my wife's Honda Pilot, it does not get to the bottom on the pan and I cannot use it on the Pilot.

Default hose adapter

Hey guys, where can I find the hose adapter that's listed on the first page of the PDF?

Also, is that step necessary, or is it just to be less messy?

Thanks.

The hose adapter that was shown in the PDF comes with the filter. Or at least the filters that I have purchased. It does make it a little less messy using the adapter. I never tried putting a hose on it, and then pushing it on. Maybe next time.
