After two weeks with the wife's new ES350, I am really bothered by the Charcoal mats on the Parchment rugs. Anyone else think it doesn't look good?
I really think it is a waste to have to spend another $130 for the correct color tan mats. Lexus should give the buyers a choice of color when they buy their car!

I'm actually good with them...doesnt show the dirt. have 2010 black sapphire pearl--very dk blue/ parchment interior. at least it matches dash etc.. had es330 for 6 yrs prev black/ cashmire or parchment int likewise on mats they showed dirt really bad....anyway prob 50/50 if you ask people preference so Lexus I guess just made decision for us.

I agree that offering a choice of mat colors would be a good option. After living with constantly dirty tan and then light gray mats, I like 'em. They do kind of match the top of the dash etc.
I realize it's a personal thing though.

I have the light colored matching carpet mats in my '07 with cashmere color interior. Bought the Exact Mats brand clear vinyl mats that fit over them "exactly". They have yellowed a bit over the years but the yellowing matches the carpet color now. The OEM all weather mats match the dash color and are okay for the winter.

I agree that they look terrible. But then again, after considering buying replacements to match I just decided it wasn't worth the time or effort. I actually asked the dealer why they didn't match and was told that Lexus had come to the conclusion from owners comments that they were more concerned with hiding dirt than matching colors!

You wouldn't want the matching mats because they stain/show wear VERY easily. Lexus needs to come up with a new carpet dying system before they start offering the light colored mats again.

Ditto with all the others. The mats look like crap after they stain. I steamed and scothguarded my light gray ones annually but it was still a problem in my '02. Glad the '10 has Charcoal! Frankly i wish the carpet set was charcoal.

If you are interested in the parchment carpet mats I will be glad to sell you mine. I took them out for the all weather mats. They have been stepped on only once. Just a thought.
