Default Bluetooth issue

Has anyone else experienced a delay when you answer a call by touching the grenn ph icon on the touch screen. I have to say hello or my name twice for the person to hear me....obviously there is an intermittant delay where they cant hear me, when I first acknowledge the call. WAs wondering is there something that can be done to correct this issue.

I have not experienced this before, my calls come in clear with no delay. I have a 2009 and I answer on my steering wheel. I would check my service provider or have the dealer look into it, this may be specific to the 2010's

Although not great, I think this delay is considered "normal".
With my 2007 ES I don't have the NAV, but when I answer a call via Bluetooth from the steering wheel, there is usually a delay between pressing the "pickup" button, the phone stopping to ring, and when I can speak. Usually around 2 seconds delay.

I have the same problem in my 2007 ES with NAV. After hitting the answer button on the steering wheel, I find that I need to pause a second or two before speaking. My phone is the Iphone 3GS. I don't remember having the same issue with my previous phone, a Motorola RAZR, so the delay could be related to the phone and not the car's bluetooth. Of course, that's just a guess.

I think I have a delay too - only used it a couple of times though (only had car for a couple of weeks). I have an LG phone. I can't imagine there would be a fix for this - seems normal/acceptable.

I'd only say you have a problem if you know no delay existed before, and now one does.

Thanks for all the responses. One thing I'm going to try is answer from steering wheel...have bad habit answering @ touch screen...green ph icon. Only had car 2 mos so dont have any prevuous history to go by....will see what happens...but it may be in ph provider....will let everyone know results after trying different answering method.
