I have called a few Tire and Rim shops and they keep telling me that 22's won't fit. So I am and have been leaning towards the 22's vs the 20's. I am just waiting to see how 22's fits under an ES 350.. I don't want to take away from the smoothness of the ride.. And rubbing is a no no.. But I am pretty sure that they will fit.. What I do know is that most rim shops have tried to get me to purchase the 20's. . You just have to get the right sizing for the 22's.. Research and keep posting great info on here..

Yeah there's a few cars like that around - I think the local club calls themselves "High Rollers" or something like that.
The worst one I can recall is an Olds Aurora with 24s. It's a tri-spoke design - looks awful.
I'm still interested in seeing how 22s fit on an ES... Bueller?

I have not been able to fit the 22's on yet, as they are hitting the strut tower in the rear. I did confirm that if I move to a coilover setup they will fit no problem and should not rub. Have not yet decided if I want to spend another $1,000 for this. Another local shop said they could make them fit by relocating the strut mount......but my answer was hell no to this option as it would raise the car. i will keep you updated on what I decide.

gekae24, I have seen your car several times on Car Domain and it is sweet! I also had seen what I believe was a solara on 22's which was yours and I also had a solara with 22's on it. How does it ride with the coilovers. The 20's ride so nice and even though they are small i am getting used to them.....

I assume you have to shave the fenders front and rear to make 22s fit. I think 20s would look great on the ES.

I'm really sad to read that 22's will not fit on an ES 350. You see I just got these wheels and tomorrow they will be going to the shop along with my car to see if they will even fit. I'm still crossing my fingers.

hey from some one that has been to the battle field of putting on 22's... THEY WILL NOT FIT on anything bigger than 235/30/22tires, and depending on the offset that may not even work... the 235/30/22 were too small for my liking so, i went 255/30/22 took a little work but they are on!!! check out my thread to see
