Age of ES 350 owners

LexBob2, I considered the Infinity but I am too lazy to go to the dealer which is pretty far from where I live. Also, I want a sporty car but I am not sure if my back could take it. I suspect, based on consumer reviews, the infinity seats would not be as comfortable as those in the Lexus.
I think the seats in the new Maxima are more comfort oriented although I really didn't spend much time in one.

I was 31 when I bought my 2008 ES 350 and the more I drive it the more I like it. Very comfortable, quiet highway cruiser, with more than enough power and great gas mileage, especially for its size.

I am 29 and I love my ES. Super quiet and comfortable. I actually enjoy driving long-trip again! My only complaint is the front-wheel drive and bad cornering ability, but well that's not what the ES is for anyway.
IS is fun to drive (rear-drive, sportier suspensions, etc) but it is too small if you are planning to carry family members or go to Costco, and the ride isn't as comfortable.
I am coming from a heavily modded MB C class, no regrets here

Hey HondaDrive, i'm 24 and i drive a ES350. I wanted a car tuned for comfort for our nasty Montreal roads, reliable, fuel efficient, and awesome looking!
IS cars are beautiful, but i drive over speed bumps and potholes more than i take nice curvy roads, so it wasn't an option. The ES was a pure winner for me.
If you're that worried about the looks you can always do some mods to it like smoke the lights or something.
I knew going in that people would think i was taking mom&dad's car but i didn't care.
GET THE ES! its an amazing value for the money, and one of the few cars JDpower gives 5-star reliability rating to!

We have an ES, I'm 47. When I drive it, all I want to do is sleep in it. It is a sleepy car. Nice and quiet, serene, but too soft. Our IS was a bit too stiff, and too small. I like something in between. Our Accord is the perfect balance between hard and soft.

if we keep this thread going longer..we will all be older older...drive what pleases you and brings you satisfaction in automobile...nothing else matters--age somewhere in the middle .

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I was about to buy a Lexus ES 350 and still will probably buy this car but I saw an article about this car that made me think about it. I read that the average age of an ES 350 buyer is 61. I am well under 61 but really like the car but I do not want to buy a car that mostly seniors are buying. I am also looking at the IS 350. Comfort is very important to but I also want a youthful looking car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Just got my wife an ES 350, we are both 33. She drives it & I do the MODS & IMO it's got enough get up & go when you need it. We have 2 school age boys & the car provides a comfortable ride & roomy enough for them in the back seat. I've also got a TAHOE for the times when we really need room. Check out my photo & you'll see that the ES can look SPORTY also;-)
