59yrs. The car came to me upon my father's passing. At the time I was driving a VW CC with manual transmission ... and in fact I've never owned an automatic transmission in all of my years driving (by choice). That I sold the VW and gave up the manual says something about how good this car is all around. For the first several months I kept reaching for the clutch pedal. I figure I'll buy a fixer-upper Mazda Miata, with manual transmission of course, in my retirement to keep me occupied and to have some fun. Wouldn't be surprised if the ES350 is still running great at the time. This 2011 has less than 20k miles.

Comfort is very important to but I also want a youthful looking car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
I bought my ES 350 when I was 30 years old. I would have bought it even in my 20s if I knew how fun and easy this car is. I had two Kias, a Matrix, an Acura, a Tacoma and a Civic before and I wouldn't buy any of them if I had the money for a Lexus ES350 when I was younger. It's very comfortable and quiet and it's like a rocket when you accelerate. actually it beats many sport sedans in a straight line. In my opinion a Lexus is more prestigious than many other brands.

40 years old, 41 in 1 month Bought the ES350 to daily, since my CLS63AMG eats up a lot of gas, and I wanted something more comfy during road trips. I'll probably get rid of the AMG soon though, gas prices here in Korea are pretty ridiculous (around $5.11 per gallon), and the maintenance costs are starting to bug me.

Just bought the car a week ago. I helped my daughter by researching and picking which ES to get. I'm 50 and she is 23. She is paying for it and driving it.
