Update gen 5 navigation

Can a gen 5 system on an 08 ES350 take the 2010 map updates or is 09 as late as it can go?

They release new maps on DVD every fall. Usually around September. So the currently available DVD is the 2009 map. But the 2010 map will come out in the fall.

Will the 2010 update work when it comes out? I thought it was already out and installed in the 2010 ES.
