Default Replacement Tires - '07 ES 350

I'm looking for recommendations for replacement tires for my 07 ES350. Priorities are a quiet ride, and reasonably good all weather performance especially in snow since I'm in upstate NY. The Michelin Primacy MXM4 looks like a match. Any experience with this tire out there? Are there other strong recommendations? Thanks.

Save your time and just go with the Michelin Primacy - a great tire for the
ES350.

Just put a set of Kumho Ecsta Platinum LX tires on my '07 ES350. Nice ride / handling / nice price too. Have a set on my '07 Impala SS and went through NE PA winter without a hitch. But for upstate NY, having lived in Buffalo for years, I would recommend a 2nd set of winter only tires.

Looks like some good suggestions above - I can tell you what NOT to get: Goodyear Assurance w/ the directional tread. I picked up my ES a couple of months ago and it has these mounted. VERY LOUD!!

I thought it was just the difference between my '99 LS and this car - but after driving a 2010 ES loaner, it was absolutely confirmed it was the tires.

Had them on my 2004 Lincoln LS thinking they were going to give my good mileage and performance. Wrong. Like you said, high noise....

And so far I'm not super impressed w/ the performance. They squeel so much while going around corners and I can easily break traction when accelerating (not floored). I was happy to see almost new tires on my used ES, but now I can't wait for them to wear out. Usually tires will quiet down as they wear - I'm really hoping this happens.

On my LS400 I had General Altimax HP tires mounted - they were directional but worked great - super quiet and good performance. I only had the tires for about 16 months before I got rid of the car, but they were quiet and they did pretty darn good in the snow. I purchased based on price (Tire Rack) since I didn't have a huge amount of $$ to spend at the time. I'd purchase these again if they're available when it comes time for tires.

I know the LS isn't a sporty vehicle, but I pushed it hard and for what it was, it handled pretty well for a boat!

The downside of directional tires of course is limited ability to rotate them. At least keep a regular treaded tire on your spare.
