Thanks. I really hope this helps somone who is about to begin a deal. The dealer used tow of the 500.00 dollar coupons to get me down to this price.

westmont Mcgrath. Like I said a pretty smooth transaction, but nothing wasnt gained without many words to demonstrate my position.

I've mentioned this before in a leasing thread, but it bears repeating to anyone who is contemplating getting a new car:

I've used FC several times now for my family with excellent results, and several friends have scored deals that you would think are impossible. No hassling and dickering with salespeople. Let dealers competitively bid for your business.
FC will even walk you through your lease contract over the phone (if you arrange your appointment with the dealer's finance manager during FC's business hours on the west coast) to ensure you're not getting screwed.
Unlike the bottom-line, dealer-invoice approach a la Consumer Reports (once you set a price, it'll never go lower), you don't ever offer a price you're willing to accept, since you have no idea how the dealer's sales volume bonus structure and profit sharing deals with the manufacturer can affect what they're willing to offer to close your incremental sale. Yes, you're unlikely to get a below-cost deal on a Lexus, but you certainly can on high-volume models (e.i., Accord, Camry, etc.). A friend closed a deal on an Altima that was over $2,000 under the dealer's net cost.
Best $40 you can put towards a new car.

I just bought a 2010 es350 fully loaded with everything except the panarama roof (waist of money) and sticker was $42,000. I walked out paying $37,500. I also financed all of it for 60 months at %1.9 Hope that helps.
