what phenomenal depreciation.

LS460. does not depreciate that fast...

Our minds always feel tempted.. why do we pay full price when we buy Brand new. when in the same $ u can get a HIGHER MSRP car but used.

Holt2008 have made a decision yet?

You can't go wrong on either car, for a variety of reasons. Good luck on your decsion. Let us know how you come out.

am going to test drive each of these again this weekend (and have my wife drive them). Thanks for all the advice -- am definitely leaning to the LS and appreciate everyone's feedback. Looks like I can get a 2007 for ~40K or so with nav, etc which seems like a decent deal for a CPO...

I think, for your wife, the Ultra ES350 is the way to go.

there is a saying.. that folks who own yatchs dont bother about the fuel/maintenance costs, cuz if they would, then they shouldnt be owning them... hence if u have the cash to afford a 70K Car,( even though used it will come cheaper- but not the maintence which will be much more than a 34K ES)., then go for it.
