2008 ES350, bought 11/11 with 35k, now 46k. Only thing I would change is the cold engine noise under acceleration. Dealership doesn't think it's a concern. Got slightly better with synthetic for a few days, now it's back to pretty much normal.

I only have 15 miles a day on a normal day, but this car has become our default for trips, so we sometimes put on 1000 miles in a week travelling. This year we have a trip to DC and a trip to North Carolina scheduled. Been a very solid performer regardless of the above.

I'm about to turn 16K in a few weeks on my 2010. Getting time to consider a trade.

You can now "build" a new 2013 ES350 on the www.lexus.com website.

Default My Two

I have 2, 2008 ES350's:

1) Red Ultra with all options except M/L System. I bought used at 24000 miles on 5/8/2009. This is my travel/Highway car and now has 42,298 miles.

2) Gold Basic model. I bought used at 9000 miles on 4/12/2011. This is my daily driver and now has 16, 782 miles.

Love both cars.

I have an 07 with 78k miles on it..Have 18,000 miles on third set of tires, had to replaced front and back brake pads, battery and wiper blades.........Only real major problem was that I had the drivers side window replaced because it came off track and popped out......Dealer cost $660 out of warranty/////////.............Donmatt what price are you asking for your 07 with 26,000 miles

Hello Retired,
Haven't given much additional thought but will talk it over with wife. I will probably be asking in the range of $31-32K in its present like new condition and under warranty til 07-14 with a $50 xfer fee (Lexus Platinum). Please send me a private message (PM) should any further disussion proceed. Thanks. Don

I had the plugs changed at 110,000 miles. I replaced the brakes and rotors at 107,000 miles and had the various TSIBs performed as they arose. In the first few months of ownership I had squeaks in the dash, sunroof, and rear window fixed, and one of the side mirrors was replaced when it stopped moving. Oh, and on our recent trip cross country I had to replace one of the coil packs that failed - $80 and ten minutes at an auto parts store.

That's it. This car has been very reliable. All I do is keep after oil changes and all my other fluids and filters and the occasional headlamp bulb.
