Default Scratch repair?

I am both a newbie Lexus owner and a forum newbie, and I need help. I own a 2008 Lexus ES350, Smoky Granite Mica color. There is a fairly deep, inch long scratch on the driver's side door, and a faint scratch on the passenger door. I hope I am not breaking forum rules; but I would love to hear of anyone with personal (not just word of mouth) experience having these type of scratches fixed by either an auto detailer or a paint & body person whose shop is close to Dallas/Fort Worth. I know that an underskilled person could actually make my doors look worse instead of better. Therefore, if I can't be 100% sure of someone's expertise in dealing with the scratches; I would rather take the safe course and leave the scratches alone. I know from personal experience that these type of scratches can be color sanded (wet sanded) out, because I had this done by a detailer in the past (who color sanded a 2002 black dually truck for me to get rid of some deep, very long scratches down one side) with very, very good results; but sadly, I can't find that detailer now. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.
