Wow , I'm both surprised and disappointed in hearing this. I would find this unacceptable and would have told the dealer to replace the defective rotors and not turn them. Although with ABS you get some faint pulsing on hard braking you should not have ended up with warped rotors. Did they happen to say how far they were out (what was the runout). As you could see this is not normal and now after 30K miles they are still true it indicates to me that this was a rotor defect. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm with everyone else who suggested to do them yourself. They're very easy, will take even a novice ~1 hour, well, maybe a little more if you're not mechanically inclined. You can change your oil and rotate your tires while you're at it and save a bundle on your next trip to the dealer. Get your wife or partner to help you and you can have a little fun and use their help to bleed the brakes.
With that said, I don't brake hard so I've never needed to turn the rotors. If you have any pulsation in your brakes you'll need to have them turned. Don't let that discourage you - it's cheaper to order all new rotors and brakes then to have the dealer do your brakes, and all the other work you can do yourself. Heck, you can even buy all the tools, a nice set of jack stands, a nice jack, and dinner to thank your partner for the help for what the dealer charges!

My rotors are warped and were already turned once and I won't make that mistake again. Question I have is do you replace the rotors and pads on both the front and back simultaneously? I would assume so.
