thank you everyone for your feedback
I was originally looking at a LS in silver.
The LS and GS is Silver Metallic. It is a brighter silver than the IS ES silver and IMHO looks much better than the more dull silver on the ES and many other cheaper cars with silver.
It also depends what the weather is when you look at it.
On a sunny day the Silver can look very good if the sun is behind you and it makes the silver act like a mirror and lightens it up making it look more like the silver metallic. You could also say from a safety point of view silver or white is better, but I don't think that matters to anyone?
On cloudy days it looks less impressive, but better than red, which loses its greatness.
The Matador Red looks really fantastic on a sunny day and is a WOW factor. On a cloudy day it is less impressive than silver. In CA where I like there are many more sunny days than cloudy days so the red is good.
I also like the parchment more than the gray interior. The wood looks better and a deeper red with parchment interior as opposed to the gray interior with a darker wood.
So red exterior and parchment interior is really a great combination, better than my 2nd choice silver gray.
If there was a Silver Metallic exterior with parchment interior, I would probably get that, but it is not offered.
