How to remove the side air vents on the dash ?

Default How to remove the side air vents on the dash ?

I want to insert leds inside. Is it simple as simply plying off the air vent trim ?

This is great and very well pictured, but i meant the side air vents near the doors, not the center one. I know these is a gap, but i'm too afraid to ply it out like that. But thanks for the link, i will keep that on my lexus archive.

if you mean the ones in the pillars that's rather easy......assuming that it is similar to the GX.....there should be 2 plastic covers on the handle on the pillar. remove the covers. remove the screws, pull the cover off to expose the airbags, and you're all set to do your mod.

EDIT: disregard this. i don't ESs have the handles on the front pillars, then again i don't have one..............

move along......nothing to see here! ;-)
