New Found Appreciation for Lexus (and Toyota)
Hello all,
A couple of days ago, a deer hit my wife's Toyota Highlander and caused substantial damage to the vehicle. Fortunately, my wife is okay. The next day, she picked up a loaner after dropping the car off at an auto shop. The loaner is a new Nissan Pathfinder and looks sharp. I was surprised that we were able to get such a nice looking car. Well, my admiration for the Pathfinder and Nissan ended as soon as we drove this car for about 3 minutes (No offense to anyone here who owns a Nissan. I am sure everyone's experience is different). The car is very uncomfortable and so noisy. The windows were shut but it sounded like they were open and now back does not feel right. Needless to say, I am so happy to have a Toyota and a Lexus!!!

I affirm, Toyota and Lexus still make good vehicles, but the competition is right on their heels, getting better and better, they must continue to innovate and emphasize quality over quantity.

I have detailed a few Nissan Motors and I can say that I also notice a difference in quality compared to Toyota. The interior especially is lacking. The noise you experience is probably from the suspension, windows, tires, etc.
I personally think Nissan's are ugly though, except the 350z. Infiniti on the other hand is ALMOST up to par with Lexus.

Jadu, I highly recommend the Highlander. It is extremely comfortable and very spacious. It also looks very nice and gets great gas mileage, especially for a SUV. I have the Limited in silver and I have no regrets.
