I got the wheel and front fender taken care of. Now the real problem. The steering wheel is at 2 o'clock and 8 o'clock when I'm going straight instead of 3 and 9 o'clock. Does this mean I need somebody beyond a simple alignment shop? I have no idea what's wrong but am convinced it isn't just an alignment. Maybe a bent strut or? I can't get it into a frame and suspension shop until next week so I guess it will have to sit a while. I am really depressed over my stupid mishap. I'm hoping something like this isn't major and or permanant. The tire isn't damaged at all. I ended up getting the wheel refinished and it looks like new. I had the fender reattached and they painted underneath the bumper where it was scratched.
I know it will get better I know it will get better. I cant even guess how much this part of the disaster will run
Thanks for the great support here. Dorothy.

Sounds like an alignment issue. When they align, they are supposed to put a clamp type device on the steering wheel / brake pedal to keep the steering wheel straight while aligning.

I took it in today it was way out of alignment. They said they need to order a bushing, a nuckle for the steering wheel column, and one more thing that I can't remember. Long story short I'm sure it won't be cheap. Dorothy
