Anyone have this issue. Stock rotors warped at about 50k. Replaced front rotors and pads about 6 months ago, now there warped. Any ideas why?

Do we assume that the symptom are extreme vibration when stopping. I would have the rotors measured meaning taking them off and checking the flatness of them. I would also inspect the pads and look for uneven wear. I would also have the ABS processor checked. This could also be a problem with one or both front calipers. There needs to be more investigation otherwise this problem will come back in a few months.

There is a good chance that one or more of your brake caliper pistons are sticking or seized. What happens is that your pistons are not retracting after you let off the brake, and it is applying the brake at 50% while you are driving down the road. That heats up the rotor and when it cools (especially rapidly, such as driving though water) it warps. You can replace/resurface your rotors 100 times and it won't solve the problem. You need to check your calipers and if they are slow or seized, rebuild or replace them.

Not sure if these were replaced by the dealer as there is a TSB on this. I had the same problem and the dealer turned the front rotors and replaced all the pads front and rear on the TSB.
If it happens again it's on the dealer to replace mine!
If the dealer did not replace yours then you need to have them fix it this time.

I'm having the exact same issue. Started at about 50k. Turned them once and helped 5-6k, then started all over again. So basically checking the majority of the brake system is the answer? to see if one of the caliper pistons are sticking. Wouldn't this affect mileage or something where it would be noticeable? I've got 68k on my car now and I'm very tired of dealing with it. What's the best way to solve this once and for all? Any help appreciated.

There are different grade rotors. Toyota for some reason has to use the lighter rotors. I have this issue on my Sienna and Avalon. Looking forward to the same thing on the Lexus. Get heavier rotors.
