Hi everybody,

I have 2010 ES350 around 2 months (2000 Mi), today I have the feeling that when I push the brake pedal to start the engine, it seems to be harder then before ??!! Not sure why ? Is it normal ?

Not sure where you live, but it could be the cold weather.

The weather is very nice, temp around 65 degree, no rain, last couple weeks the temp is colder, around 50 but no problem (So California). Thanks

It doesn't seems normal, over here the weather is little colder than So Cal. (SF Bay Area), my '10 has about 14000 now but the brakes never felt any different/harder.

The brake pedal seems to be harder ONLY when starting engine.
If engine is running, the brake seems to be light

My 2010 ES does the same thing...a little "stiffer" when pressing to start. I assumed it was b/c the power braking system isn't fully engaged when the car isn't running. If I don't hit the brake down enough to start or if I lift off before fully pressing the start button, I have noticed it stiffens up more...but when the car starts...works fine.

I noticed and found the "stiffer brake pedal" happens randomly, sometimes real light, other time real hard.

thinking out loud, I would say that the brake pedal is stiffer prior to start because the power brake is started when the car starts? I haven't analyzed mine, but I've never thought it was stiff...maybe it is. I think it's reasonable to assume that it would be stiffer while the car is turned off because the master brake controller doesn't get any juice until the car is started.
