Default GS rims/wheels on an ES350.. Wow! What a difference!

I will admit, the ride suffered quite a bit, however, they look GREAT! I have some Falken Ziek 245/40/18 tires on them right now, but will probably be going with a set of Michellin Pilots when these need replacing. They really transform the car. It's really hard to tell when model of Lexus it is with these wheels.

Enjoy the pictures.

I had no idea those would even fit! They look amazing! I always liked that particular wheel style on the GS and now that it fits the ES it sure has the wheels turning in my head (no pun intended)

I think the statement below by the OP answers your question:

How did the ride suffer, are those run flats that were previously on the GS, and when my father had his ES I was always disappointed that the car did not feel more planted, do the GS wheels give the ES a better feel especially when cornering cause that is the ES weak spot.

Looks great

I liked the older ones better? What % tint is that? Lower the car on some springs it would look hot.

The difference in the wheels is insignificant in this case. If he is getting a better feel it would have to be the tires unless he modified the suspension. The soft cushy ride is one of the features of this series car. If you modify the suspension and stiffen it up to reduce body roll during cornering you will sacrifice the ride quality. The wheels here are just a matter of taste and not a performance contributor.
