Jimbo68: I intermittently have similar rattles like you, but it disappear when the weather is getting warmer (like other folks replied to this thread). So, you got it fixed the rattle on this one?

Went in for my rattle yesterday. Sorry sir, you're past the 4 years 50,000 mile . ( i have 54,000 on the 07 CPO - CPO of no help either). We could tear out your dash but you're looking at major $. I wanted to say "BITE ME" but left.
Sound in driver side, around speaker area but of late sounds like a 1990 POS Pymouth Grand Voyager. So much for "pursuit of perfection". Really dissapointed in rattles in a so-called luxury vehicle.

I've got a few rattles that come and go in my 08 ES350:
1. Headliner rattle above driver's side head area. Someone else on here posted about being able to fix it by pulling the headliner and dampening it with foam etc...
2. Driver's side door rattles a little over bumps... not sure how to describe it, but almost as if something in the door panel might just be loose. I will open it up at some point to do a speaker swap and see what I find.
3. Dash. Every now and again, with my tires being out of balance - I get a rattle in the dash way up front. I recall reading about the garden hose fix here - basically putting something between the windshield and the dash to eliminate that the cheap / easy way.
I don't think there's a car made today - for the middle class - that can be made without rattles. What does comfort me somewhat is riding in other lesser cars and hearing all the squeaks rattles and groans they make after 7 years of being on the road and similar mileage, so I count myself as lucky and really do love my car.
