I recently lost the mechanical key for my 2008 ES350. I still have the remote/smart key, so I just need the metal one just in case the smart key ever fails.

I saw a dealership from Texas called Sewell mentioned before in these forums as a good place to buy parts online. According to their site, they will cut a new key to my VIN and mail it to me for $71.74.

I checked with my local dealer and it would cost me around $83 with tax added.

My question is, do any of you know another place to check online that is as legitimate and dependable as Sewell? I was just glad to see it would be less than $100, so $71.74 is fine but if I could get it from somewhere else for even less obviously I would be interested.

i have never asked but can you get a key cut at the dealership?

Where can i find a steering column with electrical ignition switch attached? Non tilt wheel for my 1991 es250.

As for replacing my key, I ended up ordering from Sewell online. It shipped today.
