I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on this weird problem:
(1) While listening to a local country station, when playing music it all sounds ok. However, when they are talking, there is some annoying scratchy sounds which I initially thought was 1 or more cracked speakers.

(2) So, I started doing some experiments.... changing the front / back and side to side balance... but couldn't pinpoint which speaker was the culprit.

(3) I changed to a different FM station, and the problem disappeared! I also tried a CD and also Bluetooth with my Ipod, and the problem did not occur!

(4) Back to the original FM station, and the problem is THERE! This scratchy problem occurs whether in motion, or at a stand-still. IF this is a reception
or weak signal or antenna problem.... I would expect to hear the problem ALL the time, not just when that station has a talk segment. The problem does not seem to occur when music is playing.

Does anyone have a clue as to what could be going on??

If the problem only occurs on that one station, I would think it's a problem at the radio station.
