Question 2007 ES350 Manufacturer Warranty Expiring soon

Guys and Gals, the original warranty on my 2007 ES350 is expiring in 5K miles or by Oct 2011 whichever comes first :-( My question is kind of tricky because warranty work is usually performed when car is experiencing a problem or issue but I would like my dealership to look at those areas of the car which are known to be “problematic” right after warranty expires or down the road. I was recently at the dealership and requested the advisor to do a “courtesy warranty check” (something I invented I guess) but they don’t offer any such service. Can anyone suggest what a ES350 owner should get checked while the car is under warranty? Like they say precaution is better than cure 

Also, I asked them to do a check of my car whether it is up-to-date with the minor technical service bulletin, but they only do minor TSB work is a problem exists. Is this true or should I force them to check.

Thoughts/suggestions!!!

my questions is not about purchasing extended warranty its about what checks or work or TSB work do I need to get checked before warranty runs out. This way warranty covers the cost.

have them check your front axle, power steering pump, front and rear McPherson strut and ask them to do an electronic check to make sure that all electronic component are up to date and in working condition. btw.... have them change the battery on both your car keys.

make sure your transmission is shifting smoothly. If it is not, that is complaint.

So can I request my dealership to do the checks w/o any problem or issue with them? Any experiences??
