I have a Qs.. WHAT is the purpose of DUAL in Climate control

can u control the air flow to rear passenger seats. ie. can u shut it off from the front ?

also. can u get external air to come in.. ?

(1) DUAL indicates that the driver and front passenger are independently controlling each person's temperature (dual zone climate)

(2) To shut off air flow in the rear seat, turn the rear vertical dial downwards until it clicks (it's the thing in between the two back vents)

(3) You can get external air, press the rightmost climate control button and cycle between recirc/AUTO/fresh until the fresh air mode is selected (its the right-most light of three lights on the biggest, widest button you have on your center console).

And if you want to dial in more of these features just go to the OM and it tells u all about it.

Too funny. I opened this thread just to see if this was one of the replies. Actually, it's not funny that folks are more inclined these days to go online for information than READ! Shame too. Our libraries are becoming more internet cafes than book repositories.

I agree with you and jagtoes, there is a wealth of information in the owners manual(s) for this car.
