Modifications to make
So firstly, I just want to say I love the site. I bought a 2007 and while I love the car, I want to make a few changes to it. It came with the Sportdesign badging already, which I like, simple and understated. It has the 10 spoke wheels, which I also like. I had a rock fly up and hit the windshield so I need that replaced. I guess my question is twofold; should anyone but Lexus do the windshield, even I request another repair place order OEM windshield? And what is something simple that any of you have done to the outside that gave it a bit of flair? Yes, I've used the search function lol before anyone asks. I just wanted a little input. Great thing ya'll got going here.

You're probably best off just looking through the various threads for mods you like yourself.
Many people think those little roof spoilers at the top of the back window look good, but I think it looks pretty dumb. Same thing for even a decklid lip/spoiler. I just don't think it fits on this car.
My only suggestion is to not just start bolting on random stuff and do random mods. Try to envision an overall look you're after and then work your way towards it.
Wheels are always a good start - I personally think anything bigger than a 19" on this car looks out of place. But it's a catch 22 - larger wheels really need the car to be lowered for the best appearance. But then you give up ride quality..... it's a vicious cycle I tell ya!

do your homework on it! the worst thing you can do is to jump the gun and buy the first thing you see without putting much thought into it. it took me about 3years to finally come to my "finished" product. there were alot of rims that i thought were good, decent, pretty good. but i kept searching for the ones i love. 20k miles later i still have no regrets

Thanks for the input. I've been looking around, doing my homework and my first thought is to get a set of GS wheels in 18" and stick those on their for a little while.

Take a look at the body side moulding from Lexus. My wife and I both have ES350's and hers does not have the body side moulding. IMHO the body side moulding not only protects your car but helps add character lines to break-up the large doors. I'm glad I bought mine, it makes the car look a bit sleeker. Check it out at the dealer and make your own judgement.
