Default Balanced tires

I took my 07 es to BigOtire and had the tires rotated and balanced, afterward the steering wheel shakes at 75 mph. Took it back and they rebalanced them now the the steering wheel shakes at 70 mph. Is there a special why to balance the tires that they are unaware of? what should I do next?

Last time I had a little shake at highway speed (was years ago with my IS300) it turned out to be the rim was warped but those were low profile 35 series tires. At the time I complained and after several tries to fix it Lexus took me into the shop where I realized this dealer (Silver Spring, MD) uses a ballencer with the wheel on the car - road force ballence. It was there they showed me how the rim wobbled from sided to side not top to bottom. The car was three years old but they still made a deal with me because I had bought the car from them - they paid for 1/2 the rims and all the labor, I got four new Lexus rims out of it for ~$1,200.

In summary, go to your Lexus dealer to have the tires "road force ballenced"

I agree - road force balancing is the way to go but I believe it can be done with the wheel off the car as well. My Lexus dealer has the road force Hunter machine as to most of the specialty wheel shops.

Default Had my tires balance before purchasing my truck at Lexus of oakville

They did a terrible job the first time, brought it back and the second time was an improvement upto 110km but not till I took it to my mechanic did the vibration stop.

Maybe the lexus shop needed their wheel balance machine aligned!

Cheers
