I agree. The Camry, Avalon and ES are all from the same family tree. FWD, 3.5 non-DI V6 etc. Agree also that the ES is much more refined than its cousins.

The GS is due for a new model in 2012 (I think). Current sales have slowed to a trickle (tough competition from the ES and LS below and above it in price) so the new one is needed soon.

The question is not "Would I look ridiculous"? The question at your age is whether you will now make your own decisions or become a lemming. You won't become a true individual until you think for yourself. Otherwise you will become one of those who think for you through their opinions.
