Default Heat/Cool Seat Dials Sticking

I spilled some vitamin water on the control panel for the heated and cooled seats dials. Now they're impossible to turn on or off. The dealer told me that it's a $300-$400 assembly that just controls the seats temperature, in other words no other electronics in that area that I could potentially damage. Does anyone have any recommendations on something I could spray into the grove of the dials to help break up the gunk that is keeping the dials from turning? I was thinking wd-40, but maybe that's too harsh a chemical. Any helps is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Rubbing alcohol can sometimes help. It can carry away some of the sticky contaminants and then dry leaving cleaner contacts.

You could also try contact cleaner. Just make sure the brand you use is safe for plastics.
