Default 2008 ES 350 37000 miles

As mentioned in a previous post, I'm a proud owner of a new to me CPO '08 Lexus ES 350. I'm hoping (and pretty much guaranteed by everyone I've reached out to) that this car will provide miles and miles of trouble-free service!

I do have one issue that the dealership was unable to assist with; they stated they could find no fault. When the engine is cold - say starting up when it's 50 or below outside after sitting for >2 hours - there is some ticking in the engine compartment. This only seems to be apparent to me under load however slight during the cold condition. Once the engine warms up past 1/4 on the temperature gauge, it's perfectly fine; the sound goes away. Another thing to note is that at idle it doesn't really appear unless you're really listening to it. I know injectors will make clicking noises etc but since the noise disappears, it's really bugging me.

I've experienced this before in an older car ('95 Z28) but with much higher milage (75k+). My question to the group is - is this indicative of a larger issue? Perhaps a low oil pressure condition or something else going on? I do have a 5 year 100k warranty on the car when purchased around 3 weeks ago and want to make sure I'm not doing any damage to anything down the road.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

My 2007 did it from new. Not even changing to Mobil 1 helped. Plenty of previous posts about the ticking, esp when the RX350 does not make a peep. My 2011 is quiet, no ticking noise at all. Nothing Lexus will do about it either.
