Hello all, would anyone know if there is a gain control on the ML amps? I search the CL forums and even the web but could not get any info on this matter. Now I know that the ML systems are engineered and specifically balanced to the cars and set so as not to exceed the most perfect balance in sound however some of my recorded materials require more volume (not everything is mixed or recorded to the best standards). Also like Bose and others in the industry who try to tell you what is best I want to be able to have the flexibility in controling my environment and audio gear. Any experience on this matter would be appreciated.

It might not be recorded to your liking but it was approved by the audio engineer and the artist.

There is no gain on the factory amp. I use the base factory amp in my new system but I have full control from the new head unit and I bypass the factory amp so I can use a Powerbass ASA 1000.1. Bass is usually the only thing that needs to be adjusted on my system. A lot of my 80's hair band recordings were engineered for cassettes and then used that same mix for the CDs also.
