2oo8 Lexus es 350. These cars ride terrible compared to the older ones. I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon and it rides and handle like new with 188,000 miles on it. I am selling my 08 Lexus because after all wheel alignment, new KYB struts and all new own motor mounts it rides bad. Glad I didn't sell my Avalon. It looks old but boy she runs and rides great. Even the interior is much better quality and I don't need to use prius gas. No brainer as far as I am concerned.

Default Rough ride Lexus ES350 2013 sixth gen.

My Lexus rides rough. I put new Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires on - the same as the old ones even though they only had 45k on them. It rides smoother and quieter now. But still rough on the RR tracks and potholes.. I think the short coil-over springs or struts on the front are inadequate. This is just my humble opinion. I bought the car expecting a smooth ride also.

I can tolerate less tire life and less gas mileage, but I can't tolerate the ride in the city on normal city streets. I have just abandoned the car except for road trips, and drive an old Camry that is smooth on all city road surfaces.
Did you ever resolve the rough ride problem?

rough ride is mostly related to suspension parts specially struts.

if you can't work on your car to diagnose the real issue find a trustworthy mechanic to find the problem for you. if you can check your struts and tires and asses their condition. rusted oily struts shows you need to change them.

I have had good experience with General Altimax Touring tires. Smooth, quiet. My ES current has a crap tire put on the the selling dealer. They are soon to be gone, as they are quite loud.
