Trade 2010 ES for 2012 GS
I'm considering trading my '10 ES 350 for the 2012 GS. Wondering if any ES owners here are thinking of doing the same and can share their thoughts on this. I liked the ES at the time of purchase as it a bit roomier and better for my family of 4 but am finding that I rarely have the wife and kids in the car. My wife has a '10 RX that we use for the family.

I sat in the 2013 GS and it seemed tight for the size of car. The console is still very wide. For the price, I like the IS-F. Now that would be a fun car that could still squeeze someone in a pinch.

If you get a 2012 GS you should be able to get a great deal on one. With the new gen out now the dealers will want to sell any remaining 2012's. Plus sales of the GS had really dropped off so there should be some deals on them. Good luck with your decision.

i personally couldnt see myself buying a new "old"generation, when the new gen is already out... i know u may save a few grand but if saving money is the objective, get a used one a tad bit older that still has low miles and warrenty... so in your case i would keep what i have or go for a 2013.

Agreed, you should be able to get a good deal on 2012 GS, because sales are low and the next gen is out, having said that however, I would go with the 2013. I'm looking at the possibility of trading up my 09 for 2013 GS, but I'm still on the fence. Hope you get a great deal.

i was originally looking to buy a gs and had a great deal lined up but this car was for the wife and she wanted a quiet and more comfortable car for her 40 minute drive to and from work so we went for the more comfortable drive.
If I were you id wait a little bit and go for the 2013. I also wouldnt be the first to buy because your prob gonna pay msrp or even over msrp. However buying the first year model scares me as well but I still think if I had the cash right now id buy one. I gots a little one on the way so we've actually been thinking of selling the Lexus for another SUV
