new tires- leads to low MPG
2007 Eds 350... had 38K.. OEM tires... turanze..
i put in new Michelin MX V4. the usual -highly recommended ones. now I am noticing, that my city mpg has dropped.. i only drive in city. my mpg used to be 20.. now it is 18....18.5
i can assume that . the original tires 38K... were giving me more MPG. while the new tires have more traction. and hence hugging the road more.. ..any one else had such an experience.

BTW,the MXV4 Primacy is a great tire for ride comfort and road noise.I've had that tire on two cars.
There's newer Primacy MXM4 out that's said to be even better.Hard to believe..
