Honda's too slow to change to better technology. They still use 5 speed AT's. The Acura MDX FINALLY got a 6 speed AT after how long?

It's not just the mpg and the horrible lumbar support. The brakes are scary-takes too much real estate to stop the car.

I read a thread here years ago about an owner adding foam to the underside of his ES350 seats to make them more comfortable. He had an auto upholsterer in Mexico do the work for a decent price. It looked good and he said the results were comfortable.

Way back in 1981, my new Malibu Classic sedan's bench seat was sagging within a few months. Dealer added padding to the seat and worked great for the life of the car. Yes, sounds boring but it did have the F41 sport suspension and 205/70RX14 wide tires! Handled great back then.

The best driver's seat I ever experienced was in my BMW 328i with sport package, but the rough ride and run flat tires come with it. I am very tall and I have a bad back, so I'm very sensitive to driver comfort and hands down, the BMW sport seat was the best-not only very comfortable, but also had terrific lumbar support.

No need to kick the can down the road, but RickC5 is on point, it really boils down to anatomy, that's not saying that some seats are 'flat out' bad, excuse the pun, but IMO it's subjective. I find the seats very comfortable, but that's anatomy speaking....

I have the same problem My passenger is complaining as well. I owned a 2005 Rx 350 and I didn't feel every bump in the road as I do with 2012. I just did a 1.5 hour trip for work and I feel like I was run over by a bus. I did the same trip in my husband's Ford and I felt like I was driving in a luxury car. Maybe not enough padding? The tires I just don't know but I can't feel like this everytime I drive my vehicle.
