Default ES350 Check VSC and Engine light on. Car Vivrates

Hi,

I am new to this forum and there seems to be lot of information here.
I have a ES350 2007 that just got the Check VSC and Engine light on. I have tried the Gas CAP and that is not it. The car also vibrates between 1400 to 1600 RPM. After 1700 RPM it runs smooth but if the car is at the stop light, it shakes and sounds like it will shut down but it doesn’t.
Any help would be appreciated.

This sounds like a Lexus or Toyota dealer evaluation.

It appears that the engine is missing and the ECM has set a code/s and has illuminated the Check Engine light. The VSC is disabled due to the misfire. Get this looked at ASAP.

There will be codes to read for the Lexus technician to read and act on with the light coming on.

Pouring additives into the fuel tank or crankcase rarely solves an automotive ailment. It needs a technician to diagnose and solve the problem. I agree with oldgrump and garsarno.

At the very least, take it to a Toyota dealer to save $$ if need be.

I sure hope you took it in - driving around with CEL especially when the engine isn't acting right can NOT be good. You're possibly making matters worse.

If it was my car I would have parked it and had it towed immediately to avoid any further damage.
