Default Odometer reading

IM LOOKING TO BUY A 2010 LEXUS ES- IT HAS 36,567 K MILES , I LOOKED AT THE CAR FAX

AND IT SAID THAT THE Body computer/module WAS reprogrammed; " WHAT DOES THAT

MEAN?" DOES ANYONE THINK THAT THE MILEAGE IS TOO MUCH FOR THAT YEAR AND

CAN THE ODOMETER READER BE TURNED BACK?

The Car Fax should indicate the mileage as the car aged / serviced. Does it jive with the odometer reading? If the 2010 was put into service in late summer / early fall 2009, then it is within reason for almost 6/2012.

i think the mileage can be way over stated . It all depends on how the car is maintained and scheduled maint done in a timely basis. Have 36k 2010 purchased -March 2010. Garaged every night, looks brand new...zero problems. You can 50 yr old person in excellent health, fit or you can be 38 yr old - 100 lb overweight human ready for heart attack any day. which do you pick. Most individual, dealers, will let you take your own mechainic for unbiased opinion. may cost you 100.00...very worth investment . if it looks good under hood, sounds good, go for it...very dependable car. Good Luck !!
