I am thinking about buying a used set of 19" alloy rims from the 2011 SCION TC TRD accessory for my 2007 ES350. The tire size mounted on this rim set is 235-35-19.
The wheel pattern size is: 19x8 +35 offset, 5x114.3 bolt pattern
The rim is listed on ebay as well:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Genuine-...-/400249332936
My questions:
1) Would the rims fit into my car without them scrubbing the tires?
2) If the set fits, can i buy higher profile tires (e.g. 235-50-19 or 235-45-19) to replace the set down the line for the car? I am a little nervous about denting the rims with these super low profile tires.
My current ES350 is bone stock at the moment.

Yes, the wheels should fit fine on your car and clear the suspension/wheelwell.

I would go 235/40/19 because that would be almost the same size as the stock 215/55/17 wheel/tire diameter. The 235/35/19 is more than 3% smaller than the original wheels (Tirerack recommends sticking to less than 3% change).
Use this site to check out different wheel/tire sizes: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
If you put these wheels on and dont lower your car, it will exaggerate your wheelwell and make your car look "lifted."
Good luck and post pics when youre done!
