It's the o-ring for the sensor on top of the transmission. not the drain plug. I did a drain and fill service 2 years/6000 miles ago (genuine toyota fluid)

the below is the same exact symptoms I;m experiencing. going to get this done tomorrow.

so this did not resolve my problem. I woke up to a small puddle this morning. I have bigger issues. I think the seal is bad which probably requires intense labor to replace.....fml

Where the oil is coming from? Is it engine or transmission oil?

It's transmission oil. I'm at the shop now- they showed me the issue. My transmission pan is leaking. Going to replace the gasket and do a drain and fill

I'm resurrecting an old thread, but it seems as though I have the same issue. I'm ordering the o-ring. This video has been taken down but would've been helpful. Is there anything else involved? Remove the air box and the 1 bolt? No need for the sensor if everything is working properly. I'm guessing it just pops right in and out and there's not much else to it?
