I found this used car through google under cargurus. Can someone tell me if I need to buy a used lexus at Lexus dealership for peace of mind. Is this car okay. What should I check if I want to buy this car ? It seem like very good deal. Carfax said one owner and nothing else describe. Thank so much.

Looks like my 2011 color combination. I would advise to research any warranty they will give you and also the cost (if available) of the Lexus Platinum Extended Warranty and really consider that option. Outside of that, it looks like a clean car.

Looks pretty good - but a "1 owner" car doesn't mean it has a perfectly clean history. Who says that 1 owner didn't get in an accident?

Do yourself a favor and run the history report.......

Just like on TV--tell the dealer you want him to provide you a full, printed copy of the Carfax before any further negotiations. The suggestion about a Lexus Platinum Extended Warranty is a good idea. Check with Sewell Lexus (a site sponsor) about the cost.

Do you guy know how much it normally costs for Lexus Platinum Extended warranty costs? Can we still use the remain warranty since it's 2009? Is the dealer honor the warranty which I dont buy it at Lexus dealer?

Reading the car fax report, seems it was somebody's leased company car, they went for the first free maintenance at Lexus and then hopefully, got it serviced at a local garage.

Dang it .. hic hic I pulled the trigger but my bullet not fast enough... J.k I was about to go check out the car on my day off which is Tuesday. I saw it last night which the car has been listed for 4 months thats why I didn't move fast. ANyway I search and found it last night and I need to see your guys advises first before going to the dealer. I called the guy around 11am this morning and he said he was busy with customer and tell me to give him a call back at 2pm. I kinda **** off a little since he should has get my phone numbers instead and call me back. ANyway I will ask for help again when I can find another good one... Thank again everybody!
