Dunno, I followed directions. It did not want to pair my wife's phone. should I restart the car and try again or should I do it with car turned off? remember reading about iphone 4 troubles.

When I paired my iPhone 4 with my 2007 it took numerous attempts. But it did work. I lost the pairing a few times within several months of the initial pairing. The re-pairings went much easier. Keep at it. It should pair up.

My iPhone paired on the first try no problems. But the phone book will not transfer. I asked several people at the Lexus dealership where I live and apparently the iPhone does not support bluetooth data transfer, which the Lexus uses to transfer those contacts over.
