intuitive park assist 2007 es350 ultra luxury
hi, if anyone can help...just bought a 2007 ul, it has the parking sensors but can't figure out how to turn it on...looked at the user manual....no "P" button left of the steering wheel and under info under navigation no lexus park assist icon....any thoughts to what I'm missing?

So you can't find it under Setup......."Vehicle"? No "LEXUS Park Assist" bar? Maybe someone with an '07 UL will pipe up.
I've got a 2011 Nav which has the next generation system, and it does have the ON/OFF button in the lower panel, and several adjustments/changes can be made to the Park Assist using the Nav screen just as you mentioned with your '07, but I don't know the differences that you might have with your '07.

If you have 07 ES Ultra, then park-assist automatically came with it, if the button is not to the lower left of the steering wheel, you don't have it. I have a 09 just below the UL model and I have park-assist. Did the dealer sell the car as a UL?

Hi, it was a private sale...it has the lexus sensors in front and back and every other feature of the UL and from what I understand in Canada there was only one....but will report back what I hear from Lexus Canada....maybe the person removed it but odd they would remove the section where the button should be and replace it with the non button version. I'm gonna remove the side covers in the trunk to see if the parking assist module is in the car. It is not a huge issue more just wondering why it would be missing....

If it has the sensors visible on the bumper, that button must be there...unless its an aftermarket park assist feature. Are you sure its a UL model?

Maybe the bumper was replaced with one with sensors - as in, a used part? Check to see if you have sensors on the front bumper in the corners (should only be one per side). If you don't have them there I bet the rear bumper was replaced.
If you do have them - well, I'm just as stumped as you.

Can anyone give me advice as to how to post on this forum?
I have found it difficult to navigate.
I just purchased a certifed pre-owned 2009 ES350. I do not have the parking assist feature and understand they do have an after market one that you can get at the Lexus dealer. Does anyone know about this? Is it as good as the one that comes with the car? Are there other options? What is recommended for blind spots?
Thank you for any advice.

Club Lexus limitations on new posters
I understand that if one has been a member of Club Lexus for less than 30 days, there are certain limitations. I also understand that one has to have posted THIRTY POSTS in order to have full capability. Am I correct or is the 30 days the only limitation?
I also had posted asking about the Parking Assist that is aftermarket and haven't had any responses and wonder if my post was never posted????
Thank you for any response from someone
