I'm leaving out of town for a month and half, just bought a battery tender to take care of my car when I'm gone. Since it's my first time doing it, really want to make sure I do the right thing. I read a few pages and videos, but they are not exactly my battery. So want to make sure I'm doing it right.
After I opened the hood, I saw the battery as attached pic, is it as easy as plug the clip on corresponding polarity? Red is positive and green is negative right? Do I need to remove the bolt or anything? Or just plug and play? Please please be as detail as possible, I don't want anything happen during my absence of 1.5 month. Thanks guys!

I keep mine on a battery tender (Deltran) as well.
I believe the proper way to make the connection is with the Chasis ground not hte battery neg terminal.
I also keep the cable permanantly mounted to the Pos Terminal and Chasis ground with the eyelet attachment cable that came with the tender.

Here's the poop. The final answer to this question direct from DELTRAN. I just called for the answer.
IT DOESN'T MATTER whether you use the chassis ground or the battery neg. terminal.
The unit is spark and short protected
