Default Cruise control instructions for 2009 ES350

Just got my certified pre-owned ES350 in December.

I am having a difficult time getting the cruise control to work, following the instructions in the manual. Just wonder does anyone know if there is a trick to this, or possibly it is just not working properly.

I will make an appt. to take it to the dealer so they can check it out, but thought someone might know of any special little trick that you need to know to use it.

Thanks very much for any information anyone can provide.

I don't have any materials handy, but it is a 2 step process. 1st you turn on the cruise control function (on the steering wheel I think) and then use the lever/stalk to set and adjust the CC. The CC won't work unless first turned on before you try to set/adjust the speed.

Thanks very much for your reply!

Yes, we did try turning it on first and then setting and adjusting, but it still doesn't seem to be working.

Guess will bring it to the dealer so they can check it out.
