Default Ask help on dealer report

Hi, recently I got a problem with my 07 ES350.
There's vibration when it's in R, D, P, D gear. Then I took it to Sewell dealership for an diagnosis.
They said I need to replace the FRONT MOTOR MOUNT.
Is that reasonable?

The report said:
85356 FRONT ENGINE MOUNT 1.00 COMPLT CONFIRMED SHUTTER/POPPING NOISE
PREFORMED A HEALTH CHECK AND FOUND DTC'S P16A1 FOR FRONT ENGINE (ELECT)
MOUNT TESTED MOUNT AND FOUND A INTERNAL FAILURE WILL NEED TO REPLACED MOUNT

Anyone have any advice? They will charge $450 to do that.

Thank you for any advice.

Thank you for your information.
This car was under CPO warranty under previous owner. And still have 6 months or 15000 miles.
But I was told it is untransferable.

What's the fair price of front motor mount?

Thank you again.

That repair sounds reasonable...I had that done on my 03, I think I paid about that. I'm sure you can get it done somewhere cheaper than the dealer.

Yeah, I also think it reasonable.
And I wanna know any other things which can cause this kind of problem?
Thank you.

You may want to get a quote for the work from a Toyota dealership. Their labor charges are usually lower than at a Lexus shop.

yeah, and i also got some quote from independence lexus shop, and their estimate work time is more than 2 hours while its only 1 and half in dealership. For parts, they gave the same retail price.

yeah, I mean where did you get the TSB.
I wanna check if there is any other things may cause the vibration.

I find a service advisor in another Lexus dealer who gives me $311 including parts, labor and tax to replace the front engine mount. This is the cheapest quote so far.
I think i will go for this dealer next week to make the repair. Hope the replacement will kill the vibration.

It should, it'll be nice and smooth after the mount is replaced.

Aha, hope so.

Sewell and Park Place both have different prices in store and online? But they cannot match online price when you are buying parts in store.
Anyone know the reason ?
