brakes

My ES350 has been mostly problem free since I took ownership in July of 2006 - 140,000 miles to date. I've replaced a coil pack, all the fluids, the rotors & brakes (once), the filters, a headlight bulb, wiper blades, tires, and the spark plugs. That's it.
When still under warranty I had a couple of recalls done, squeaks fixed, the front bumper painted, and replaced a side mirror that stopped working.
My steering wheel buttons look like crap but that's the only thing that currently bugs me.
At 140,000 miles I would call that a win with any car.

Mine threw a coil D code at ~65000 and I ended up just doing all 6 coils and plugs since it cost me nothing (friends at the dealer I bought it from). Probably could have gotten away with just swapping that one coil and keep on truckin.

Granted I'm just past half of the miles you have on your car, but this thing's rock solid as well. What the hell is the deal with those steering wheel buttons anyway? I wonder what they made them out of.

My #4 coil failed while on a cross country trip. I stopped at the nearest parts shop, got the error code read, pulled the old coil out and put the new coil in (one bolt, one connection). It took me longer to purchase the part than it did to replace it. Fortunately it was the front bank and not the rear.
