I have a question about the navigation system for the 2007 ES350

where is the antena for the GPS located ?
also is there a way to see on the unit how strong your signal is or even if you have one if you loose a signal what will happen will a MSG pop up or will an icon show up ?



on the navigation screen whyll the car was facing East
the arrow that is Red and half white near the top left of the screen that is supposed to tell you what direction your going
right ?
so if im driving East how come the Red part of the Point is facing west ?

well if the red part is facing west....that would mean the white part is facing east...

have you tried matching it up to the mirror compass when driving in any other direction?

Yes when I'm heading south the red part faces south and the mirror says south also only issue is with east and west

You may just need to recalibrate it. Look through the menus for a calibration option and usually it requires you to drive in a circle in a parking lot or something to that effect.

thanks im going to check it out when i get it back from the shop

had to take it to lexus for a warranty repair today
my luck i have a car not even 7 days and it needs to go in the shop lol
