2007 ES350 Oil Leak Question

Wondering about the vvt-i oil line on my 2008 rx350 I recently purchased. I’ve read about the Limited Service Campaign LSC 9 LH being extended to 12-31-21. I have read here that if mine was repaired it was only to install another rubber line and not the whole line with all metal. I understand the new rubber hose has a yellow line on it. I see that on mine so I assume it has been done. Will check with the local Lexus dealer. But my questions here are:
1. Is the replacement hose rubber better than the original? (I see no leaks)
2. If so how?
3. Would you recommend getting the all metal one or am I ok?
4. Other suggestions/info?
Thanks for all replies to come I hope.

Updated rubber hose is better but still miles behind the all metal one.
